Thanksgiving is not just a holiday. It is a path out of depression and into happiness. Being thankful shifts our thoughts to positive neural connections and is therefore our first defense against being caught in a negative mental cycle. If you want to be happy, think of something you are thankful for. I recommend three thankful thoughts at bedtime, early morning and anytime you feel down. Change how you experience your day with a thought. Do everything in love. Live this moment.
